Suhr Hombre 2×12″ Extension Cabinet
Suhr’s take on the classic Brownface tones that have inspired John Suhr since his early days as a guitarist. The intention was clear: create a modern take on these classic designs while preserving the vintage heritage. That’ s how the Hombre came along, both as a combo and a head. So a cabinet was needed, and the 212 is an excellent, well built, cabinet. It houses two Celestion 12 V-style speakers, known for their open and edgy tone, that has exactly the bite You need for these amps. Now placing a speaker in a cabinet is not going to give you the same tone, as you may have heard elsewhere. The same speaker can sound completely different in a poorly built cabinet, so please do not underestimate the need for a quality built cabinet – You will be amazed how much difference there is. This spacious cabinet is built from Box Joint Pine, and gives the Celestion all the richness and bottom end it tales, for a rich and harmonic sound.
