The Suhr Standard Legacy guitars, are everything we were looking for, as we wanted to recreate a model with the 1984 Knopfler/Pensa Suhr vibe, but without the hefty price tag.
All of a sudden Suhr announced these “secret” guitars in early 2021, and we have been so excited about being able to break the news.
All of these guitars are made from an African Okoume body, with a figured Maple top, and available with either Floyd Rose or Gotoh 510 tremolo. All are equipped with EMG SA/SA/85 pickups, and a black gloss headstock. These guitars are the 80’s revisited, and if you once fell in love with that era, where Pensa Suhr, Valley Arts and other great builders were turning out great guitars, its impossible not to love these instruments from John Suhr & Co.
