The SSV matches the V60LP pickups very well, and give great push to your solos, when in bridge position. Gotoh 510 tremolo, setup bu Suhr, and combined with locking tuners, gives you a solid tremolo with great tuning. -

Any gearfreak in the world knows Pete Thorn. An excellent guitarplayer, who has made a living from demoing products. But when it comes to guitars, Suhr is his first call. The Pete Thorn Standard HSS is made from a 2 piece Alder body, featuring a Thornbucker II, and two V63 pickups. Wilkinson tremolo, and locking tuners. The JG63 is a great offset guitar design, with its 24" scale and beautiful body shape. This one turned out very nicely, with the mixture of a Teal Green finish, and the Anodized pickguard. The Nash JG63 features an increased neck angle for better sustain and stability, a roller bridge for better tremolo response and increased tuning consistency, and a buzz stop tailpiece that applies downward pressure to the strings reducing excess buzz and rattle. Specially designed Lollar pickups and an improved wiring layout give the JG63 increased functionality and an improved dynamic range. -

The Modern Satin features a pau ferro fingerboard, versatile electronics, and a V60LP middle pickup (HSH models only). The Modern Satin retains many of the specifications of the original including stainless steel frets and proprietary Suhr locking tuners. Normally this would be an S-57 finish, but we mixed and matched with an S-67, featuring the large CBS headstock, 3 ply guards, and a nice C shape neck. The Suhr Standard Legacy guitars, are everything we were looking for, as we wanted to recreate a model with the 1984 Knopfler/Pensa Suhr vibe, but without the hefty price tag. All of a sudden Suhr announced these "secret" guitars in early 2021, and we have been so excited about being able to break the news. All of these guitars are made from an African Okoume body, with a figured Maple top, and available with either Floyd Rose or Gotoh 510 tremolo. All are equipped with EMG SA/SA/85 pickups, and a black gloss headstock. These guitars are the 80's revisited, and if you once fell in love with that era, where Pensa Suhr, Valley Arts and other great builders were turning out great guitars, its impossible not to love these instruments from John Suhr & Co. -
