The Suhr Standard Legacy guitars, are everything we were looking for, as we wanted to recreate a model with the 1984 Knopfler/Pensa Suhr vibe, but without the hefty price tag. All of a sudden Suhr announced these "secret" guitars in early 2021, and we have been so excited about being able to break the news. All of these guitars are made from an African Okoume body, with a figured Maple top, and available with either Floyd Rose or Gotoh 510 tremolo. All are equipped with EMG SA/SA/85 pickups, and a black gloss headstock. These guitars are the 80's revisited, and if you once fell in love with that era, where Pensa Suhr, Valley Arts and other great builders were turning out great guitars, its impossible not to love these instruments from John Suhr & Co. -

The new Classic S Antique features a new 60’s C vintage medium neck profile with indian rosewood or maple fingerboard and V63 single coils. The Classic S Antique retains many of the original specifications of the Classic Antique including the SSCII hum cancelling system, nitrocellulose finish, and stainless steel frets. Proprietary Suhr locking tuners and the Gotoh 510 tremolo provides superior tuning stability. This particular sample, has a very nice cracked nitro top, that does not really show on pictures, but very much "live". A beautiful and light aging! -

Last year we posted a Suhr Alt T, made on order to a store in the US. We had an immediate request from a customer, and contacted Suhr for price. The result was a limited series, built for Europe, and in various colours. We got to choose the first four pieces. And the result is a very limited production of guitars, that are considerably cheaper than they would have been as a special custom order. You get all the Bells and Whistles, at a great price, simply because Suhr was able to produce a complete batch, and not just a One Off. This one comes in a stunning Bengal Burst finish over a Flamed Maple Top. Body is Swamp Ash, and a set of Thornbuckers in Raw finish, gives you great tones. -

Gandhi no. 17 is Pink, and we absolutely love it. Lovely C shape Maple neck, and of course Lollar pickups, with a Lollar Imperial humbucker in rear position.
